We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant who shares our passion for pets and can help us increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our Amazon listings and Shopify blog.
Job Overview:
As a Social Media Assistant, you will play a crucial role in executing our digital marketing strategy, focusing on creating engaging content across multiple platforms to reach pet owners and enthusiasts. Your efforts will directly contribute to increasing our online presence and driving e-commerce sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pet-Centric Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content tailored for pet lovers. This includes graphics, videos, blog posts, and social media updates that resonate with our target audience.
- Content Creation and Strategy Execution: For Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube ( 3 Creatives per week on each platform)
- Content Scheduling for E-Commerce: Utilize social media tools to schedule and manage posts specifically designed to promote our e-commerce products and services, ensuring optimal engagement and reach.
- Engagement with Pet Communities: Actively engage with our audience, particularly pet owners, across all platforms. Respond to comments, messages, and queries, fostering a positive community around our brand.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on the performance of social media campaigns, understanding how they impact e-commerce sales and brand awareness.
- Trend Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest trends in both social media and the pet industry, adapting our strategy to stay ahead of the curve.
- Collaboration and Campaign Development: Work closely with our e-commerce team to create innovative campaigns that drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with experience in the pet industry or a strong personal interest in pets.
- Proven experience in social media management, ideally within an e-commerce setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create visually appealing content relevant to pet owners.
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with a community of pet lovers.
